The referral process

How KindClear works

KindClear is a transparent local information, advertising and enquiry-introduction service. It does not carry out clearances, employ clearance crews, set a provider's price or take payment for clearance work.

1. You describe the property and situation

The enquiry asks for contact details, postcode, property type, approximate rooms, access, timing, unusual items and whether anything may need valuation. Photographs will be optional when the live form is configured.

Do not upload financial papers, identity documents, images containing unnecessary personal information or photographs of people without permission.

2. KindClear checks whether the enquiry fits

KindClear will compare the location and requested service with the areas accepted by participating providers. A fit does not mean the provider is obliged to accept the job or that KindClear has assessed the property.

KindClear supplies information and introductions only. It does not book the clearance, negotiate the price or control how a provider handles the work.

3. An independent provider contacts you

The provider asks further questions, arranges any visit, decides whether it can take the job and issues its own quotation. The provider must explain what the quotation includes and any circumstances that could change it.

KindClear does not quote on the provider's behalf and does not instruct the provider to handle or dispose of waste.

4. You choose whether to proceed

The clearance contract and payment are directly between the customer and provider. Customers should check the provider's details, registration and terms before accepting the quotation.

KindClear may charge the provider an advertising or qualified-enquiry fee. The customer should not be charged by KindClear merely for submitting an enquiry unless a separate service and price are clearly agreed in advance.

5. Questions or complaints

Questions about the quotation, work, payment or property damage first belong with the provider that contracted to do the job. KindClear will also take account of substantiated concerns when deciding whether a provider should continue receiving introductions.

Customers should keep the provider's quotation, terms, receipt and relevant registration details.
